Sunshine: The Sun Burns Bright

By George Robbins

[usr 3.8]

It feels as though most, if not all space films have to have some degree of horror added to them. Sometimes it is a monster or sometimes it is just space itself that can be horrific. Couple that with how horrifying people can be and you end up with a film that shows one of the worst case scenarios in a world saving endeavor. Both sides of human nature can be seen in this film, a fearful and ruthless side, and a brave and selfless side. That dynamic is what I think makes this film shine compared to other horror films. Every character is shown to have both sides to them throughout the film. This all comes to a head and you end up with a film that shows off just what kind of event you can end up with in an unlikely situation. This film is one that I would absolutely recommend someone watch if they have time.
