Sundance Film Festival 2020
As this post is being written, Sundance Film Festival is just over half way through its life cycle for the year.Taking place from 1/23-2/2, Sundance is a marathon of screenings, panels. parties, and more. This festival, in the ski resort town of Park, City Utah, is typically attended by a crowd of nearly 120,000 people. Sundance is a festival which combines the groups of big award-winning movies and small indie movies. The movies that are shown usually give an idea as to what movies could end up generating Oscar conversation.
Being exhibited are some of the best independently produced films from the US and from around the world. From filmmakers to talent of various degrees, Sundance allows them to network with one another and discuss varying topics in the field of film and media. Amongst the crowds, celebrities are a common appearance as they are also attendees at the festival. The Sundance Film Festival is a festival for movie lovers in its entirety, and is one of, if not the most exciting event of the year.
