This film review for the movie Rudy is one that will discuss just how inspiring this film is, and how it has the potential to shape lives. Given the fact that the film is based off of a true story makes it all the better. After all, people love to watch inspiring films. Thus a film like this, filled with countless obstacles to overcome is more endearing. In other words, it puts us in the characters shoes and shows us how hard he has to work.
First of all, the film presents huge obstacles from the start that he must overcome. Next, he is waylaid because of his own disability, not getting to start off where he wants. However, this gives us a chance to see his determination as time goes on. It gives the viewer hope that everything might work out. In the end, it all finally comes to a head and we get to see an incredible triumph.

Everything in the film builds to the climactic triumph at the end. The overwhelming joy of both the man and those around him leaks from the screen. After it is all over, of course we feel inspired, even if it is to do something small. Most people would probably never experience difficulties like his, but it shows that we can do whatever we set out to do. Hopefully, you will now go and watch the film and look to be inspired.

This film review for the movie Public Enemies is one that will praise the film for it’s storytelling of the story of John Dillinger. After all this film is based off of the real story of the criminal. Thus, his portrayal as a man of the downtrodden is not one created for the film. In reality, he really was a man loved by everyday people. Following the release of this film, I saw it and immediately became fascinated with his story. This is what a film like this should so.
First off, the film starts with J. Edgar Hoover, and his newly formed FBI. He promotes an agent to a position that is made exclusively to hunt Dillinger. Dillinger was considered a man of the people, and as such it was difficult to deal with him normally. Following his first arrest and escape, we see that things just kept getting harder for the FBI. Finally, the only way they could catch him in the end was with a rouse.

After everything that transpires in the film, we expect most of it to be fake. In reality, however, most of what happened in the film actually happened. This is the reason why I love this movie to such an extent. After all, it is hard to tell the story of a criminal properly, but the filmmakers did it. Hopefully, this makes you want to go watch the movie now, because you should.

This film review for the movie Gangster Squad is written solely to try and get people reading it to want to watch the movie. Following the introduction of the movie, we know why the squad was created to begin with. With the rise of notorious gangster Mickey Cohen, there was no one to stop him. However, this resulted in a secret squad formed to deal with him. Thus, the titular gangster squad is created solely to stop the spread of Cohen’s mafia. This is only a part of why the film is interesting.
First, we see the squad fighting against Cohen’s operations, and effectively ruining his livelihood. Next, they commit actions not sanctioned by the LAPD to make him lose even more. After all, the gangster himself has corrupt judges and officers on his side. This makes the film all the more interesting to me. Overall, the squad had to be efficient in acting of their own accord, without being caught by either side.

Ultimately we see the destruction of Mickey Cohen’s criminal empire when he is arrested. Every event leading up to the arrest in the film feels earned as well. Following the conclusion, you can only really feel satisfaction from watching it through. However, I do realize some people may not like this sort of film, and that is fine. Hopefully after reading this, some of you will want to watch the film.

This film review for The Road to El Dorado is one which discusses the nostalgia and other feelings I have whenever I see the movie. First of all, this film is relatively old by this point. However, that does not stop it from being a good film in the slightest. The animation style is relatively basic, but it is done in a way that most animations are done. Thus, we can see that the movie is based more on the story than the visuals. Though as I said, the visuals are not bad, they just aren’t amazing.
Going more into the opening sentence of the review, this film is nostalgic. At the very least, it is nostalgic to me. Specifically, the animation is what makes it so nostalgic to me. The reason for which is that this animation style is one that was used in every film at the time. Notably this was a film that always felt different to me, compared to other films of the same nature. There is no particular reason for this, it just feels different.

Perhaps the reason for why it is one that I like is because the story is more adult oriented. There is no real reason why adults would like it more either. Therefore, the film is one that is simply special to me as a whole. While it may be unexplainable to me, perhaps for others it is. Hopefully this mysterious phenomenon makes you want to watch it as well.

This film review for Couples Retreat will go into how the film does a decent job of showing what real struggles between couples can look like. Throughout the film the characters refuse to admit their problems to one another. Therefore, miscommunication starts and the couples start to argue more. Whomever wrote the script took things like this into account pretty well. The film is also a comedy, so it doesn’t go too deep into drama. However, this doesn’t stop it from pointing out relationship issues.
First, we see from the beginning that every couple in the film has problems. Next, those problems start to show themselves even more when the characters are isolated. However, this still doesn’t stop it from being a comedy. In fact, conflict gives the most entertainment in the film, but is equally serious. Thus, the film has a healthy balance of both drama and comedy, in my opinion.

This film is full of its own little quirks that make it entertaining. While I may have enjoyed the film, it isn’t one that I will constantly re-watch. However, if I see it on, then I will watch it. This alone is a reason why I am fond of the film, because it is entertaining. If a film is entertaining, then it did its job properly, and therefore should be watched if possible. In conclusion, go see the film at least once, and enjoy the nuances of it.

This film review for Who Framed Roger Rabbit will go into how excellently done the combination of live action and animation is. Certainly, this is very easily noticed just by watching the film. Immediately, we are introduced to the main character, a private investigator. We learn very quickly that he doesn’t like toons. Before his introduction, we see how this world works as opposed to the real world. The toons are just actors on a set and humans work the cameras. Thus, the combination of live action and animation is made seamless.
First, the main character has to help find out what is going on with the titular character’s wife. Then he has to help him clear his name after a murder. The interactions between humans and animated characters holds up even today. Therefore, when characters do something and the world reacts accordingly, it is very entertaining. Their world is one that combines real world and toon world physics. Consequently, those things are just as seamless, and they make total sense.

Throughout the events of the film, we see that the world of toons is gritty and dangerous. Thus, to me, the film is much more interesting than any other film of the same nature. While it may be gritty, it is still a film that can be enjoyed by anybody. Therefore, it should be watched by as many people as possible. It is absolutely worth a watch and then a re-watch because it is just an extremely entertaining film. Hopefully, if you are reading this and haven’t seen it yet, then you’ll go watch it.
