Nirvana the Band the Show is a 2007–09 independent Canadian mockumentary web series created and written by Matt Johnson and Jay McCarrol, who play fictionalized versions of themselves as they attempt to achieve their dream of playing at a small Toronto venue, the Rivoli, through a series of various schemes and publicity stunts.
